Sending heartfelt condolences to the family of my Uncle Don. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am sad he is gone. If I'm not mistaken, I think I was the first who called him "Uncle" in the family, as the first child of his oldest sister, Verdelle (Kris), and he was loving and always fun. I regret I had not seen him for many years, but I will always remember his wit and lively personality, his love of family, and how much he enjoyed his pigeons. Love to Pat, my cousins - his beloved children, his surviving siblings, and all the grandchildren I'm sure he loved so much. May he rest in peace.

My prayers are with the family. I didn't know all these things about Don. Emily is only a couple years older than me and being a small town, we often played on the same softball team. Don was always in the crowd with a great big smile. That's what I've always known about him and will remember.
