Obituary of Harriett Smith

HARRIETT E. SMITH ROCK FALLS-Harriett E. Smith, 85, died Monday, August 6, 2012 at her home. Harriett was employed as a secretary at National Manufacturing. Harriett was born June 22, 1927 in Sterling, the daughter of John and Emma (Koch) Schueler. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Reverend Daniel Behmlander, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Randy) Pollock of Prophetstown; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Marie Schueler, Elizabeth Schueler and Lois Deem; and brother, John Schueler. A memorial has been established.
