GAYE PAGE LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE. WHEN NO OTHER DOCTORS WOULD LISTEN TO ME WHEN I KNEW SOMETHING WAS TERRIBLY WRONG WITH IN ME... I WAS SO SICK... SO I SOUGHT OUT GAYE, AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS AN HOUR AWAY FROM GETTING BACK IN TO SEE HER AND GET THOSE FROM TEST RESULTS, SOMETHING EXPLODED INSIDE OF ME AND I ENDED UP IN SURGERY AND I ENDED UP IN THE ICU AND HOSPITALIZED FOR FEW WEEKS...I PROB SHOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED. MANY WEEKS LATER WHEN I WAS STRONG ENOUGH, I WENT BACK TO SEE HER AND THAT WAS THE BEGINNING OF NEARLY 2 DECADES OF OUR AMAZING FRIENDSHIP. I NEVER SAW ANYONE AFTER SHE BECAME MY NP. SHE ALWAYS HAD TIME TO LISTEN... SHE TRULY CARED DEEPLY FOR ALL OF HER PATIENTS. SHE HAD A KIND HEART AND A BEAUTIFUL SOUL AND AN AMAZING LOVE FOR LIFE ITSELF. I WILL MISS HER DEEPLY AND MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO EVERYONE IN THIS LIFE THAT WAS SO TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN AND LOVED HER. PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY. <3 ... ELIZABETH WINSTEAD
