As a young kid growing up in Mendota, I was a good friend of Doris and Fred's son Kevin. I spent many days at their house, playing and getting into all kinds of mischief with Kevin. I have very fond memories of Doris - she was a great mom and always welcomed me into her home. What a great life she lived - she always had a gentle, calming spirit about her - my condolences to the family.
