To Josh and all family members,
We used to see Steve at the casino and play next to him. He was one of the nicest guys! Since I knew Josh from sports, most of our conversation centered around him. I always felt that Josh had that same quality. I'm sure that trait was passed down to all the family members through Steve. So sorry

I enjoyed trapping with Steve back in the 80's. He taught me a lot of techniques, and was always generous in areas he could be. He loved his kids, and always enjoyed talking about them when he got the chance. He was at home in the great outdoors. We caught a black coyote one year when we trapped together, which I'm sure added to the many stories he relished in telling about his adventures! He enjoyed taking naps in the truck while I walked the trap-line too! I will miss him, and wish him peace. I appreciated his respect for my parents, in that he asked about them every time I saw him. I know they send his kids and family their condolences as well.
