Sandra had a profound impact on my life, as have Voigt, Sam and Voigt Jr. They welcomed me into their family and have treated me with remarkable kindness and love. Sandra embodied the spirit of hospitality and she was always genuinely interested in how you were doing. She understood the value of beginning each day by inviting God to be at the center of everything. If you got up early enough while visiting her home, you'd find her at the kitchen table with her morning devotionals. If you counted Sandra among your friends, then you had in her the best kind of friend one could ever hope to have.
She was one in a million!
I cant describe how much I will miss her.

Sam, I was so sorry to hear the sad news about your mom. Though it's been a lot of years since I've seen you, I have such fond memories of teenage years with you and your family.
