Cousin Rose always had such a lightness about her - she looked on the bright side of things. I remember how we played together in the summers of our childhood, either at our farm near Freeport or at her family's home in Sterling. So many memories with Rose, the entire Sanders family, as well as the Rhodes. I remember playing the radio outside and Rose teaching me how to dance, along with some of the rest of the neighborhood kids. We had so much fun - playing till after dark every weekend and summers! I will hold dearly all those great memories of our “west end gang!” Say hello to Earl for me dear Rosie!
