I am sad that I found out about Ron’s passing so many years later. I attended WIU with him and we were both Industrial Tech and Ed majors. But our friendship grew more when were both residents in Higgins Hall. We often ate together in the dorm cafeteria and talked long after our meals. We had a lot of common ground as we were both small town rural guys. I can still hear his voice; he had a deep, resonant tone; a radio voice. So sorry we lost touch and more so that his time was too short. He was one of the good guys.

My deepest sympathies to the family of RC. i will always remember RC as a easy-going, and dedicated man. I'm a better adult for knowing him in my youth. I was involved in scouting and an explorer post with RC.

My condolences to the family. I knew Ronnie through Scouting and considered him a true friend and appreciate all that he did for Scouting, Camp Eastman and for the Tribe of the Silver Tomahawk. I am a better person because we crossed paths and will miss him.
