I knew Bill (we called him Billy as a kid) when I was a young girl growing up in Rock Falls. He and my brother, Neil, were very good friends. He was one of the nicest boys and I see that he grew to be a wonderful man. I am sorry for your loss and I pray you have comfort as you think of your dear loved one.
Sincerely, Gloria Garland

My family and I were neighbors for many years of Beverly and Bill. We had many conversations and loved that they opened their hearts to us. There hasn't been a day that has gone by since we moved that we haven't thought of them. Bill fought hard and refused to let anything keep him tied down. I still remember all the times we had to move our cars so they could move their camper for their trips. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We will never forget you.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Bill when he was employed at Northwestern Steel and Wire and then as a fellow employee of Baker Dolomite. I will always remember Bill as an upstanding person, very tactful and always willing to be helpful and share his knowledge in an understandable manner. It was a honor to have known him.
Although his loss leaves a void in all of us, he is now in a better place and his presence will remain with us
Rest in peace, Bill, rest in peace.
