I would like to send condolences to Kate's family. I met her many years ago when her sister Gina and I were neighbors. As years passed and lives changed we didn't see each other very often. If we would run into each other in a grocery store we always knew our conversation would go on for at least 15 minutes. She was a very special lady and I feel lucky to have known her. So sorry for your loss. when my mother passed away, Kate was one of the first to offer condolences to our family. After the funeral, she gave us a warm welcome to her home (our family home growing up years earlier) and gave us the full tour of the place showing all the work she had done and future projects. The tour sure brought back a lot of memories and we were very grateful for her hospitality. Also, just talking with her, she reminded me so much of her mother. That brought back a lot of memories as I often felt like an extra Hurley having spent so much time with them. I just kept quiet and listened to her and smiled. That was a good day.
