Obituary of Betty Burger

ROCK FALLS - Betty J. Burger, 79, of Rock Falls died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at KSB Hospital of Dixon. Betty was born in Powell, WY on January 9, 1942 the daughter of Arthur and Eleanor (Goeking) Cunningham. She married Robert Burger Sr. in Sterling on February 14, 1964. Betty enjoyed spending her free time gardening, sewing, and quilting. She was an administrative clerk for the Burger Brothers Company for many years. Survivors include her husband; four sons, Robert (Theresa) Burger Jr. of Rock Falls, Steven R. (Neive) Burger of Chicago, Jeffery P. Burger of Clinton, IL, Gregg P. (Linda) Burger of New Jersey; one daughter, Teri (Dale) Lippens of Dixon; two sisters, Barb Birley of GA, Phyllis Friesen of IN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Beverly Morse; daughter-in-law, Julie Burger. Cremation Rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time.
