Laura IL- Gary L. Franks, 60, of Laura IL passed away August 6, 2021 surrounded by family. Gary was born June 7, 1961 the son of Clarence and Christine (Bloomquist) Franks. He married Kathy Slusser on August 22, 2003 in Sterling, IL.
Survivors include his wife Kathy; mother Christine Franks; one daughter Brandy Franks of Rock Falls; two step children Colt (Jacquelin) Younger and Brandy (Ronnit) Prajapati; one brother Thomas (Kathy) Franksl of Rock Falls; one sister Rhonda (Jesse) Neal of Rock Falls; three grandchildren Shawna Buccholz, Tabytha Johnson, Alissa Franks; three step grandchildren Nora Younger, Axel Younger, Mercedes Pratt.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Clarence Franks; and one brother in infancy Donald Franks.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
