Obituary of Ethel F Warner

Ethel F. Warner, 94, of Sterling died Tuesday October 12, 2021 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Ethel was born October 29, 1926 in Sterling the daughter of George and Gladys (Millhouse) Wechsler. She married Kenneth Warner on October 27, 1946 in Prairieville. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2009.
Ethel enjoyed bowling, SkipBo, roller skating, traveling, and camping. She loved spending time with her family, especially grandchildren, and friends. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Ethel worked at Lawrence Brothers until her retirement.
Survivors include one son Terry Warner of Sterling; one daughter Karen (Allan) Morris of Dixon; five grandchildren Stephanie (Thomas) Locchetta, Kym Johnson, Sara (Andrew) Halter, Renae (Jason) Kenney, and Erica (Charlie) Rogers; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Lowell Wechsler, Kenny Wechsler, George Wechsler; two sisters Arlene Grobe, and Gladys Typer.
A memorial has been established to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling.
