Obituary of Kenneth Shidler

KENNETH EUGENE SHIDLER STERLING-Kenneth Eugene Shidler, 78, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Coventry Living Center, Sterling. He was an owner and operator of Shidler Auto and Radiator Repair Shop. Kenneth was born September 19, 1934 in Robinson, IL, the son of George and Juanita (Glosser) Shidler. He married LaVonne Brandenburg on August 15, 1985 in Robinson, IL. She preceded him in death on October 31, 2010. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Kenneth also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda (Marcelo) Palmer of Sterling; Terry (William) Jackson of St. Louis, MO and Debra Loges of Terra Haute, IN; one sister, Shirley (Frank) Geiger; one brother, Robert (Sara) Shidler; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie A. Graveside services will be held 1 PM at Calvary Cemetery with Reverend Juan Ayala of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating.
