Miss Jacobs was my second grade teacher at Lincoln School. I loved her! She was so patient and kind. I saw her and Evelyn at church and Dorothy always came over to greet me and ask how I was doing. I feel very fortunate to have been blessed to have her in my life. May she Rest In Peace.

To the Family of Dorothy Jacobs,I was just thinking about her the other day. I have the most kindest memories of her. I am 64 yrs. old and Mrs.Jacobs was my 2nd grade teacher at Lincoln Grade school. I have one specific memory of her. I remember when we were in class and an announcement came over the speaker that President Kennedy had just died. Mrs. Jacob was sitting at her desk with her head down in her arms and was crying.Teachers make an impact on students lives and she did mine. May the Lord give all of your family comfort at this time.
