I was in 4th grade at East Coloma school when Carol came to teach. All of us little girls were all consumed with the "romance " between her and Mr.Chapman. Sometimes he would be sitting on her desk chatting as we entered the room and we were all giddy. He was so handsome and she was so pretty and we were so young an impressionable . Just like Tracy said she had a positive impact on so many of us ! I will always remember her smile and the way she made me feel about myself. I have nothing but positive memories of my time with her at East Coloma.
I am so so sorry ........

Thank you so much, Ann, for sharing. As Bill and Carol's daughter, it is such a treat to sneak a peak into the beginnings of their love story and have glimpse into their past. Theirs is a love for the ages. It is also comforting to know that Mom touched so many lives during her teaching career.
Thank you, again.

Sending my love and prayers to you all as you mourn the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Every memory I have of Mrs. Chapman (from my many visits back in the 80’s) is of her laughing, smiling and playfully engaging in conversation. I always left feeling happier because of her. She brought much light into the world! May she rest in peace. Tricia Rumbolz
