Deepest belated sympathy to the family of Jean and Brian Finkbeiner. Although I have not been in contact with Brian, Jean, Shawna, and Janette since their time in Spring Valley, our family has thought of and remembered them through good stories and reflections over the years. Brian and Jean left an impact and will be missed. Shawna and Janette prayers to you through your healing process and wish the best for you and your families. Robert Gehrking and family

Jean was one of the first people I met when I started working in Polo at the Tri-County Press. She made me feel welcome in a city I was just getting to know. I also met her parents, who were truly delightful.
I was blessed to have known her. It wasn't easy going from typing to reporting with no experience, but the friendly people of Polo made it easy for me and Jean was one of them! I'll always be thankful for them and her.
