Obituary of Nicola Navarra

   Nicola Navarra, 38, of Sterling, formerly of Mattoon IL, passed August 3, 2023 surrounded by family.  Nicola was born May 3, 1985 the son of Carmen and Tammy (Brown) Navarra.

   Nicola is survived by his Grandfather Orville Brown; mother Tammy (Richard) Steinhouse; one sister Natasha Meyer; one uncle Travis Brown; one Aunt Taralee Fonner; three cousins Caden Brown, Caleb Burton, and Feleicia Krusley; niece Sasha Meyer; and nephew Daniel Meyer; special friends Israel, Alex, Shook, Derek, Chad, and Trence.

   He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Mary (Charles) Bronson; grandmother Barbara Kay Brown; father Carmen Navarra; Aunt Tonya Krusley; and step-father Randall Smallwood. 

   Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation.
