Obituary of Donald Gleim

Donald H. Gleim Harmon - Donald H. Gleim , 90, formerly of Harmon, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. Donald was born May 30, 1923 in Bradford Township, the son of John and Vera (Griese) Gleim. He married Marlyn Coleman on August 2, 1962 in Hanover, IL. He graduated from Dixon High School in 1941. He was a lifelong farmer in the Harmon area until his retirement in 2012. Donald enjoyed music and gardening. Survivors include a son, Randy (Robin) Coleman of Rosewell, GA; three grandchildren Ryan, Currie, and Mckenzie Coleman of Rosewell, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Jeffrey Coleman. Services will be 11:30 PM Friday, June 14, 2013 at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, with Monsignor Dan Hermes, officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. A memorial has been established.
