COLETA-Mrs. Judith A. "Judy" Betz, 66, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at CGH Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1946, in Peoria to Elaine Calhoun and Breck Nelson.
She married Larry Betz on November 6, 1994 in Peoria, and moved from Peoria to Coleta.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; one daughter, Krista Bally of Peoria; one son, Jason Bally of Peoria; one sister, Victoria (James) Kuzel of Tucson, AZ.
Judy was the co-owner of the Archery Den Pro Shop west of Coleta, and was the manager of Sally's Beauty Supply until 2011. Judy had a joy for life and always put her family and friends first. To know her was to love her.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Schilling Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3-4 PM prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
