My fond memories of Uncle Pete are far too many to capture here. A few highlights include watching Uncle Pete, Aunt Rosie, Mom and Dad play cards while the moms ate fudge and pickles. I loved hearing Uncle Pete's laugh - it always made me giggle inside. Uncle Pete always let me play with the top of his hair even when he probably was tired of having me rub it, but he never said a word - just grinned at me. We have all the fun memories of the cabin and Coleta. I will miss his smile and most of all hearing him call me Nanny. I love you,Uncle Pete!

Pete, How we love you and will miss you, but you will remain in our hearts here on earth until we meet again in heaven. You and Arnie grew up like brothers--never knowing you would continue as brothers in your married lives. You were not our "brother-in-law, you were truly our "brother". We lived with you and Rose in your upstairs the first summer we were married and though we moved away after that, we remained close always--playing cards, fishing, enjoying and "fixing up" Aftermath, family gatherings in Coleta and up north. We have so many memories together we could write a book. Our love is with you in heaven. Donna and Arnie

Uncle Duane and I shared December birthdays and our families celebrated birthdays together for many years while I was young. I loved his smile, his kindness, his caring, humble personality, but most of all I am so thankful that Uncle Duane trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior and was learning to lean on Jesus in recent years. We all loved Uncle Duane and will miss him. We anxiously and patiently await the time when we will see him again for all eternity-forever and ever!"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Dad always liked to provide cocktails before Sunday dinners. Anytime I drink Peppermint Schnapps I'll be reminded of him.

I worked with George at GE. He was always fun to work with. I loved to listen to his fishing and hunting stories.

I am sorry to read of the passing of your loved one. Words don't always ease the pain when you are grieving the death of a loved one, but I hope you will find comfort in Jesus' promise of the resurrection hope(Acts 24:15)of restoring all those sleeping in death back to life, on the renewed Paradise earth(John 5:28,29; Luke 23:43) what a wonderful blessing to look forward too. Until then, may God grant you peace and comfort during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.
