Your life was a great example of knowing Christ, and shining his light for the world to see. You fought the good fight and finished your course well. Thank you for being God's vessel. Love you and see you soon.

Juli Houck blessed so many people's lives because of how she lived her's. She had saturated her mind, her days and all of her life with the Word of God, and she lived her life accordingly. Any time that we would see each other, Juli would give out those beautiful nuggets of truth from the Word of God. She didn't just say it, she lived it. Isaiah 52:7 comes to mind every time I think about Juli Houck, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!" Where ever Juli's beautiful feet would bring her,if it were in the grocery store, out in public, or in the privacy of her home she would proclaim that her God Reigns!
Oh Dear Lord, thank you for your wonderful gift of Juli Houck. Thank you for allow me to see your faithfulness through her wonderful husband, Bill. When I think of Bill Houck, I think of what great love, steadfast devotion, commitment, care and tenderness that he poured out on his, Juli. What a beautiful testimony of a marriage of two people who haven't just talk the talk, but have really walked out their faith when it has been most difficult! Let Your Presence, Dear Lord, gird Bill up, for you are the Glory and the lifter of his head.
So to you Juli, I would say, Thank you for bringing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Thank you for fighting the good fight, for running the race and finishing well! All who knew you, have, and will continue to be blessed, because Jesus Christ, the hope of Glory, has been lifted up in your life and death! You have, and will continue to be, a blessing, to everyone who knew you, because God isn't finished with the work He started in and through you. Let all who knew you,Juli, take heed in the truth you have spoken and lived in your life. You and Bill through the most difficult of times, have shown us, True Victorious Living! Juli, You and Bill are never ending blessings! It has been an honor to know you!
I love you! In Christ, Jill Weber

The passion for Jesus Christ was Burning Bright in Juli's heart and life. She has, and will continue to be, a spark that the Lord will use in the heart's of her Children, Grandchildren, Husband, family and friends to pass on that Burning Torch! And when her life story is spoken of, and when her undying devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ is proclaimed -Let all who have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit of the Lord says - "Come and Taste the Living Water and Never Thirst Again And Have Life Everlasting! Juli's life doesn't end it has only begun! Dear Lord, let the annoited Word of God, that Juli has sown throughout her life, and even through her death, ignite the flame of passion for You, Jesus Christ in the heart's of those who don't yet know You. For the Spirit and the Bride say "Come"

Juli was such a wonderful friend, always loving, giving and caring even when she didn't feel well. We will always remember our visits with she and Bill and the friendship and advice they offered us over the years. Heaven is a richer place because of her home going although those of us left down here will be missing her so much. Praying for the family as they grieve their loss.

Juli was a LIGHT in a dark dark world. She allowed the LIGHT of JESUS to be seen in and through her every day, no matter what she was going through. I hope I have learned from her example! She will be missed by anyone whom ever met her. Our loss is heaven's gain!

Julie and I were next door neighbors as young girls. She had an amazing mom that loved Jesus and shared that with us through her missions work etc. We got the opportunity to try on Kimonos, wooden shoes and Japanese socks, and was told many stories. Julie and I shared May baskets and went roller skating many times together, playing dolls, and helping her mother bake. It was a wonderful time for me with Julie as my friend, and as we grew into adulthood it remained so even though separated by miles, we found each other again in our adult years and although we were busy about different things our friendship was still there. I regret not being in her life as much, as we grew but I will always be in awe of her love for the Lord and her willingness to be His servant and help people that were hurting and laid low by this fallen world. She had the most warm uplifting smile, even when she was taken to her bed by this terrible disease of cancer. Julie, with great joy, I rejoice in the fact you are present with your Lord and Savior and that we will see each other again. You have left a whole here, and we will miss your presence but soar with the angels and enjoy holding and loving your baby girl.

You will be missed a lot, but I know you are sitting up there in heaven looking down and keeping watch over us. I will always treasure the Bible Studies that I spent with you and Marilyn and all the other women in your home just for the short time I got to know you. You have been a real inspiration to me in my life and teaching me how to be closer with GOD. Bless you and your family.
