I am sorry to read of the passing of your loved one. Words don't always ease the pain when you are grieving the death of a loved one, but I hope you will find comfort in Jesus' promise of the resurrection hope(Acts 24:15)when he will raise up those who are now sleeping in death(John 11:11) restoring them back to life, on the renewed Paradise earth(John 5:28,29; Luke 23:43) what a wonderful blessing to look forward too. i remember one year you & Jaime & the kids came to spend the night before the Miller family reunion at our house. We partied as usual. You and Tammy made the famous hot wings and everyone went to bed. Only Luke & I was up. Luke decided he wanted to cook a pork loin about 1 AM. he was asking me for all the spices and we got it ready and he passed out in the kitchen standing up with his forehead against the cupboard. I could not get him to wake up. One of many memories. I love you Lukey Luke!

The snow was waist deep and the temp. was below zero. Time for a cookout. Luke,Eric(Cube) and I fired up the grill..charcoal even. On went the chops for a great winter feast. 4hrs and another bag of charcoal later and the chops were still not done. The grease was freezing before it reached the fire. Needless to say we had to finish em in the oven. The time we spent trying to cook em was awesome, just one of the many things I would never have tried if it wasn't for Luke.
