Obituary of Larry Berard

ROCK FALLS- Larry Lee Berard, 65, of Rock Falls, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at his home. He was employed at Northwest Steel and Wire until his retirement. Larry was born June 26, 1949 in Dixon, to Leo and Vernita (Sitter) Berard. He served in the United States Army. Survivors include his mothers, Vernita McKinnis and Gloria Batt; two sons, Trent (Julie) Thompson, of Chattum, and Larry Anspach; one sister, Cindy Berard, of Rock Falls; good friend, Debbie Dawson; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10 am at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon with Military Rites, with Reverend John Kermott officiating.
