Grandma was someone you could always count on speaking her mind especially if you did not call enough to keep her up to date on your life, sending a card every birthday, a new pair of pj's every Christmas that we got to open on Christmas Eve so we could wear to bed that night, enjoying a glass or two or three of rhine wine in the slender frosted glass, generous, kind, warm, sophisticated, lots of hugs and kisses, and LOVE! I am grieving the loss of a grandmother who was beautiful inside and out and it can't even compare to the loss of a mother. My heart breaks because I am unable to be there tomorrow but I will be there in spirit. Our many memories will sustain us and she will live forever in our hearts and stories! May God's strength, courage, healing hands, love and peace fill us up and be a constant reminder that we are not alone. Thanks be to God and AMEN!
