Obituary of Mary Hicks

MARY E. HICKS STERLING- Mary Hicks, 75, died Sunday December 18, 2011 at Sterling Pavilion. Mary was born May 16, 1936 in Odin, the daughter of John T. and Minerva (Fyke) Jensen. She married Bennie Hicks on August 29, 1954 in Odin. Survivors include her husband, Bennie; two daughters, Mina (Tim) Wright of Maywood, and Lenora M. (Phil) Jacobson of Los Alamos, NM; three sons, Darrell D. (Judy) Hicks of Inverness, FL, Thomas C. (Ruth) Hicks of Grizzly Flats, CA and Charles M. (Lynda) Hicks of Circle Pines, MN; her mother, Minerva Jensen of Sterling; one brother, James P. (Joyce) Jensen of Emerson; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend John Kalebaugh pastor of The Refuge Church of Amboy officiating.
