Obituary of Lorraine Haenni

LORRAINE A. HAENNI STERLING - Lorraine A. Haenni, 87, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. Lorraine was born July 24, 1924 in Dixon, the daughter of Harry and Pearl (Starks) Klapprodt. She married John Haenni in Sterling. He preceded her in death in 1988. Lorraine was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Lynda Cox, of Sterling; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Marvin Haenni; and one granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Patrick Pinion of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12-1:30 PM, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home, prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
