Obituary of Julia Rivera

JULIA RIVERA STERLING- Julia Rivera, 54, of Sterling, died, Monday, May 25, 2009 at her residence. She was employed as a housekeeper in Florida at the Westin Diplomat Resort, Florida. Julia was born February 5, 1955 in Chicago. The daughter of Ramon and Esperanza (Oquendo) Vargas. She married Nelson Rivera on April 17, 1990 in Ocala, FL. He survives. Survivors also include, one daughter, Natori Nieves, at home; two sisters, Nilda (Oscar) Bosch of Sterling and Rosa (Felix) Oquendo of Cicero; four brothers, Freddy (Tita) Rivera of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Benny (Miguelina) Gonzalez of Dixon, William (Carmen) Gonzalez of Chicago, and Camilo Gonzalez of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Luis Vargas and Joaquin Gonzalez. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 9-12 AM at the funeral home, prior to services. A memorial has been established
