To Irene's Family, I wish to tell you how much we loved having your Mom in our Red Hat Chapter. She was such a fun Lady-always up for anything. We were at lunch on day and she ordered a dessert--when she got it we all laughed it was enough for 3 meals!!! I had her to my home several times to play Bunco--her and little Rose were 2 of the nicest Ladies and were such game players they had a great time together too, It was wonderful to know and love Irene.

Angels When you were born, an angel smiled, As you became a child, an angel sat on your shoulder When you became an adult, an angel held your hand As you grew old, an angel walked down the road with you, And, when you died, another angel got their wings. Bert G. Keller

To the Family of Aunt Irene, I am sorry to hear of Irene's passing. I understand her last days were tough ones for everyone. At least she is resting peacefully now. I can still hear her laugh and will never forget it. She was always so welcoming to all who visited her. I remember coming out to the mink farm and playing in the yard. There was always the stories that your Father would tell. I think someone had a drum set that we got to play on. There was always dessert or ice cream. When I visited her in AZ I couldn't believe how many dancing outfits and shoes/cowboy boots she had stored in such a limited space. She enjoyed life and always found fun and made people laugh. She has a loving family who have been there for her in times of need. She always had a positive attitude. I know I don't have to tell you but Irene will dearly be miss. Take care of each other and long live the memories. From Sandra
