Obituary of John Young

JOHN T. YOUNG STERLING �" John T. Young, 53, of Sterling died Friday, July 24, 2009 at CGH Medical Center. He was employed by Frantz Manufacturing in Sterling. Mr. Young was born December 25, 1955 in Sterling, the son of Elmer and Alice (Hurley) Young. He was a member of the Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls. Survivors include his father, Elmer Young, of Sterling; and one brother, Elmer (Colleen) Young, Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother and three brothers, Richard, Gene and Roger. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 27, 2009 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Sunday, July 28, 2009 at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
