Obituary of Merten Kinison

MERTEN EUGENE KINISON ROCK FALLS - Merten Eugene Kinison, 75, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Rock Falls Rehabilitation Center. Merten was born June 25, 1936 in Milton Junction, WI, the son of William and Marie (Vole) Kinison. Survivors include two daughters, Paula (Gerry) Bartolomei and Diana (Shane) Wilhelm, both of Sterling; two sons, Virgil Kinison, of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Mike (Dawn Reed) Kinison, of Sterling; two sisters, Bev (Dick) Saunders, of Sterling and Joanne (Wayne) Bruns, of Rock Falls; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charlie, Melvin, and Bob Kinison. Cremation rites have been acorded, and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements were made by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
