Dear Donna & Family, I've known Jim since he was born, when I was 10 years old. I spent many summers on the farm and did some baby-sitting for Jim when I was there. He always wanted to be outside and wanted to ride the tractor with his dad and grandpa. One of the best times I remember was a family reunion in 1984 where Jim roasted a pig and a side of beef. We just watched the video from that reunion a few months ago and looking back now, how many of the Winks have gone on to the big farm in the sky. Now it's Jim's turn to join them - what a time will be had by all. I was so glad to see Jim and Donna at my mom's memorial service in April 2008! So sorry we won't be able to make the services, but as you know we are in Florida for the winter. God Bless You All! Love Patsy & Bob Rymsha, Antioch IL/North Port FL

Friends and Family: Jim was an incredibly strong man. I watched Jim go through learning, heartaches, challenges. I saw Jim grow and give and achieve. Jim enjoyed the earth, people, and especially his family. His faith sustained him. He shared his wisdom and his humor and his worldly goods. It was my good fortune to know Jim all his life. Cousin, I know you won’t leave us, now. You will always be with us in spirit. Love, Mary June Mauser

Dearest Donna and Family: The news arrived this morning. The news we had all be dreading... Our dear, sweet Jim has moved on to a better place. He fought a good, long battle before moving on. He made sure that he walked Brenda down that aisle and saw her married; made sure that Julie and the grandkids would be well taken care of; moved you, Donna, into a more manageable home, and, God bless him, made sure that he helped Charlie get the crops in for the last time, and the ground ready for Spring. Jim loved the feel of the earth beneith his feet and the smell of the soil as he turned it in Spring. I have no doubt that he will be plowing fields this spring for our percious Lord in heaven, and in Fall will definately be "bringing in the sheaves!" Jim loved all of you with his whole heart, and his family was everything to him. He was one great, funny, "down to earth" kind of guy, with a big, big heart, and we will all miss him terribly! Know that our hearts and prayers are with you as you lay my cousin and dear friend to rest! The world is a better place because Jim touched so many of us.... Our love to you all --- Cathy & George Lynch, Rochelle, IL
