Obituary of Harold Eshleman

STERLING- Harold R. Eshleman, 99, died, Friday, February 12, 2010. Harold was born September 14, 1910 in Sterling, the son of Elwood and Emma (Martin) Eshleman. He married Louise Geyer on October 26, 1934 in Sterling. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1992. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Ann I. Hecht of Madison, WI; one son, James (Sherral) Eshleman of Sterling; one sister-in-law, Violette Eshleman of Sterling; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Hart and Alta Johnson and five brothers, Lloyd Eshleman, Carl Eshleman, Orrin Eshleman, Lyle Eshleman and Ralph Eshleman in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Reverend Jeff Coester, pastor, of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Family will be present from 9:45-10:30AM Saturday, with Funeral to follow at 10:30.
