Obituary of Virginia Britz

Virginia S. Britz, 64, formerly of Sterling, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Virginia was born July 26, 1946 in Sterling, the daughter of Chester and Margaret (Garwick) Lenhart. She married Robert Britz on July 2, 1966 in Coleta. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2007. Survivors include one daughter, Amy (Brian) McCutcheon, of St. Louis Park, MN; two sons, Nathan Britz, of Elk Grove Village, and Jason Britz, of Bloomington; one sister, Janice (Lyle) Weber, of Shorewood; one brother, Larry (Donna) Lenhart, of Lanark; and one grandson, Jacob McCutcheon. She was also preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Pastor Bill Sullivan, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM, prior to the service, at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
