Obituary of Dorothy Daggert

DOROTHY M. DAGGERT Dorothy LaRue Daggert, 95, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at Sterling Pavilion. She was a High School teacher for many years. Dorothy was born July 5, 1915 in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Harry A. and Mabel M. (Moore) LaRue. She married Oliver C. Daggert on September 2, 1950 in Columbia, MO. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1998. She was a member of First Christian Church of Sterling. Dorothy served in the Navy from 1944-1946 as a Lieutenant JG. Survivors include one step-daughter, Leslie (James) Smith, of West Olive, MI and Scottsdale, AZ; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Evelyn LaRue, and one brother, G. Wallace LaRue.
