Dear Sharon and family, I was very concerned about Clara when I didn't receive a Christmas card from her. Not sure you know me but I was church secretary when your parents attended church here. In the past several years I have been in contact with her as she would send me stamps for missions as our Ladies Aid still collects them. I always tried to keep her up-to-date with friends she had when living here. My deepest sympathy to you and Melanie did tell me she had heard that she had a stroke sometime. She sent me one of her beautiful Christmas trees (safety pins and crystals) within the last year and we enjoyed it for the first time this year. It is still in my front window. I haven't heard if you were able to have the service at the cemetery yesterday but I was on library duty at St. John's School so was not able to check if you were out there. Phyllis
