Dear Sheila I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I wish I had heard sooner so I could have come to visitation. I don`t know if you even remember me. You went to school with my sister Theresa. We did date for a little while when you lived between Dixon and Rockfalls. I`m so sorry for your lost. I would love to hear from you if you would want to. My e-mail is messed up but you can call me at [815]668-2341.

I remember when we were little kids and your mom and dad lived on this (what I thought was huge at the time in my little girl eyes) farm and you had watermelon patches on them. We would sneak out into the fields and bust open some of the watermelons, and when we got caught...well,I will not even go there!!! But, I do remember how big the house was, and how HUGE it was to me as a child, but I remember most of all the fun we had and when your mom and dad took Queenie, our Alaskan Husky and gave her a place where she could run and be free.
We did not see a lot of each other as children, but the times we were together, even though you were about 12 years older than us littler ones, you always had time for us....I will never forget that.
Your passing has stirred up many memories long suppressed, but they were such happy ones, and long ago when life was so simple.
I am beyond words that the Good Lord gave you, Sheila and myself some time alone last week, then to be able to bring Mom back to see you the next day. The light and the brightness and happiness in your eyes said it all...you were so happy, and I will now never forget the hugs and kisses you bestowed on us when we left. You knew sweet girl that this was our goodbye.
May we forever hold you in our hearts and minds, and may you always be happy where you are now. God is taking care of you, and I just heard a bell from my cellphone...so YOU...DEAR COUSIN...got your wings....now SOAR!!!! Love, and forever,
your cousin, Sherry

Its been forever, families grow and leave the area in which were all accustomed to, however the memories are always with us all. I can remember as a young women being around Janice and Sheila a lot on the weekends, actually the entire family for that matter. What fun and what memories I have and always will. Janice seemed to always have a smile or a laugh that made one laugh with her. I remember it was like a tickle, unique and fun just like her. In my memories Aunt Dorothy loved a good bargain, I'll bet their shopping and having a good old-time as we sit back and reflect in our hearts and in our individual memories what was. May God Bless and keep her safe. Dianna
