Obituary of Janet Noon

JANET A. NOON ROCK FALLS - Janet A. Noon, 81, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. She was employed as a Dietician for CGH Medical Center for many years. Janet was born August 23, 1929 in Rock Falls, the daughter of Earl and Cora Velma (Young) Hoover. She married Donald Noon on July 23, 1973 in Dixon. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen (Edwin) Folsom-Johnson, of Savanna, and Elizabeth Dougherty, of North Port, FL; four sons, Gary (Dian) Folsom, of North Port, FL, Michael Timothy Folsom, of Aspen, CO, John Folsom, of Sterling, and Kenneth (Della) Folsom, of York, PA; three sisters, Marie Pitcher, of Phoenix, AZ, Dorothy (Ken) Bennett, of Mesa, AZ, and Gloria (Jack) Dietz, of Harmon; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Folsom. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 10, 2011, at Tampico Memorial Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
