Obituary of Catherine Jacobson

CATHERINE L. JACOBSON POLO - Catherine L. Jacobson , 90, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Polo Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Catherine was born May 19, 1921 in Burlington, WI, the daughter of Edward and Ida (Kornhoff) Mehring. She married Goodwin L. Jacobson on January 5, 1943 in Burlington, WI. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1976. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Donald) Kelsey, of Milledgeville, Joyce (Norman) Uglow, of Watertown, WI, and Jackie (Tom) Betts, of East Troy, WI; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marie Vogt; and two brothers, Louis and Arthur Mehring. Interment services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI with Father Quintin Heck, Chaplin, at VA Medical Clinic, Milwaukee, WI, officiating. A memorial has been established.
