Obituary of Charlotte Bohlin

CHARLOTTE J. BOHLIN STERLING - Charlotte J. Bohlin, 88, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. Charlotte was born November 8, 1922 in Rockford. She married Harold Bohlin on November 22, 1947 in Winnebago. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1996. She was a member of New Life Lutheran Church in Sterling. Charlotte was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, John (Susan) Bohlin, of Sterling; one sister, Carolyn (Russ) Backer, of Orange, CA; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Marie (Alvin) Cooksey. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 15, 2011 at New Life Lutheran Church with Reverend William Sullivan, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Monday, at the Church, prior to services. Private burial will be later at the Middle Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery in Winnebago. A memorial has been established to the New Life Lutheran Church.
