Karlyn, Hi, this is Marty Mills, Kermit and Ruby's grandson. It's been years since we've seen each other. Just wanted to pass along our sympathy and let you know how special Aunt Eileen was. Our family has very fond memories of her visits with Grandma Ruby. I can still hear her laugh and see her cooking and cleaning...she loved to do that! Marshall and I visited her when Aunt Wanda died a few years ago and that was the last time we spoke to her. We went by her house before going to the visitation and she fixed us pork chops - yum! We'll never forget her. She was a very special lady. We've thought of you guys down through the years, sorry we havent't been more diligent in keeping in touch. So sorry we missed services.

I had the pleasure of knowing "Grandma Mills" thru Kelli... I can recall her bringing cookies into us at Maurices over the holidays and my favorite ones were the ones with the Andies Candies in them, she made the best ones:) She would visit us in the store back then frequently and she lots of spunk to her that is for sure. I recall taking lunch hours with Kelli and running to Grandma's for one reason or another and she always enjoyed the company. Grandma always hosted us all at the Gus Macker tournaments and made sure we had enough to drink and place to sit or lay down and a FULL stomach, she never sat down that entire weekend it seemed. She hosted her grandkids friends, such as myself, her great grandkids friends, and the friends of the friends we all knew that was the place to be. She always asked about the games even if she didn't know who you were she had to know if you had won or lost. Her yard became a parking lot for two days in June every year and she LOVED all of it. Grandma had a chair in her living room that she liked to sit in and watch her "stories" during the day and if I recall the "Price is Right" that was her spot. She was a true Grandmother in all respects, if you had the pleasure of knowing her you are better for it. This was one good hearted strong woman but you didn't say anything about her kids, grandkids, or great grandkids unless it was good that is for sure, again that's a true grandmother. God Bless you Grandma Mills and thoughts and prayers go out to the family. With a special mention to Kelli and her boys and her mother Karlyn.

Thank goodness for Grandma Mills, her door was always open when we needed to warm up or use a bathroom during a cold football game or a close place to park. Thank you Alisa and Kelli for sharing your Grandma with me, she was a wonderful lady.

My very deepest sympathies to Karlyn & all of Eileen's family. Whenever I was near, she always included me in any family gatherings. And, Eileen, God will certainly name you in charge of all the little ones...& keeping His stoves clean!
