The Heavens Angel story was from Lil Petunia (Barb Echebarria Plemmons). Another memory, we used to do Christmas plays. The one year we had to walk up the isle alone. I got up by Aunt Carmen and was scared so i stopped and hid behind her. She picked me up, put me on her lap and told me i didnt have to finish. So sweet.

I remember when we would stay over at their house on Ave K and i would stay in the room with Aunt Carmen and Grandma. They let me sleep in the middle so i wouldnt be scared. She will be dearly missed. Love you Aunt Carmen.

I remember coming into Sterling after a 30 hitch on River stayn at Tia Wa Woos & Tia Carmen house. Aunt Lou would make me a pallet on the floor it be late at night Tia Carmen & Wa Woo would still be awake sittn on the couch talkin I'd ask Wa woo & Carmen to sing they would sing Lou would break out the guitar. Lou would get tired but Tia Carmen was always ready for just one more Church song. I know tia Carmen up there in Heaven playn the organ for Our Lord. I Love and will miss U Aunt Carmen. TIO
