We were very saddened to learn of Darrell's death. I have fond memories of him when your family visited in Virginia. Darrell's sweet spirit gave evidence of his salvation. What comfort to know that he is with his Lord. It makes heaven much sweeter and our desire to be with Christ even greater. Thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Darrell was a wonderful person who will be truly missed. However, im sure there are a lot of people in heaven he is reuniting with who are rejoicing and singing and dancing with him right now. God will take care of him. He always has.

For as long as I can remember, Darrell has been a part of our lives. When I heard of his passing, I could hear his voice singing Amazing Grace. What an amazing memory and legacy he gave us all. I was one of Darrell's trainers at Self Help. I had him in my area for years! I just loved seeing Darrell march in every morning! Every day I would ask him "Darrell what's Mom making for dinner tonight?" Every time he would answer "Pork Chops!" I loved hearing him sing Amazing Grace and encouraged him to sing it often for me.The world is a better place for having Darrell in it. I know that I am a better person for having known Darrell! He has such an amazing family! May God watch over you all and let peace fill your hearts knowing that Darrell was loved so here on Earth! Thoughts and Prayers for the family!
