I was so sorry to hear of Merlyn's passing. I am so blessed to have grown up in the same community with such great people as him. I have the best memories of his family, Joyce, Dale, and Dean who was also my classmate all through school. Please accept my condolences and receive my thoughts and prayers for you during your time of loss.

Uncle Merlyn, we've missed you for awhile now. It was several years since we saw You last. I guess it will be a few more now. Keep the Lord company for us. Teach him how to 'walk the rows' for that old crop coming up and be sure and let him jump in the trailer of sweetcorn and bury himself. And please grow some of those wonderful ears and have them ready for us when we get there (I will bring the butter!) Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Uncle Merlyn and so sorry we can't be there. We will always remember his sense of humor and the fun we had at the farm. Who knew you could make a full meal on corn on the cob? This Texas gal had no clue! We love you Joyce! Hope you and the family know our prayers include you guys. Thanks for the memories!
