Sherry and I met in highschool. We had a few classes together. She was always helpful if I needed something. Thanks to Facebook I was able to follow along with her struggles and triumphs of the battle with cancer. Sherry was much too young to find her final home! My thoughts and prayers go with the family.

I will always vividly remember onLabor Day as we were all gathered at Mike's house Sherry was walking through the yard and looking up towards the crisp blue sky with this smirk on her face completely in her own moment. She had a complete look of joy and peace on her face and I said hey Carl look at Sherry. He said Sherry hey are you OK? She responded with yes I'm just talking to the Lord. I will never forget the look on her face and I knew before she spoke what she was doing. Such an inspiration! I've never known somebody dying who was LIVING as much as Sherry!
