Karen Stauffer & Family posted a condolence

You are in our thoughts and prayers today. Maurice was a wonderful man. Even though we weren't related, he always made us feel like we were part of his family. He loved my children and it was always fun to watch his face light up when he had the chance to snuggle with one of them. I will miss seeing him at holiday dinners. I pray the memories you have comfort you as you say goodbye to him. With love, Karen, Bill, Kelly & Abby Stauffer

Especially to Beth, John, and their boys: we were so sorry to hear the sad news of the loss of Beth's Dad.. and want to send condolences and sympathies to all the family.
We were happy to get to know Mr. Scholl, if only briefly, at family occasions. We enjoyed delightful conversation, and appreciated his insightful commentaries on the changes in the customs and outlooks of growing new generations. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and was always interested in learning new outlooks and taking part in discussions. We thought he was a pretty amazing gentleman who expressed great pride in his daughter and family.

Marie Rombouts posted a condolence

My mother, Julia Rombouts, was a neighbor at Coventry. We lost her in March. Your father was there to show support at her funeral. She truly enjoyed the dominoes games they played. She would speak of your mother, as well. She sat with her once in a while so your father could run errands.
Maurie would make sure to say "hi" to me when he would come in to pay his sewer bill at the City.
I just wanted to express my sympathy for your loss. There have been many losses at Coventry this last year. I'm glad they were able to spend some great times together.
