Obituary of Katherine Katie Jo Hopkins

Katherine “Katie Jo” Hopkins, 13, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Katie was born in Sterling on December 19, 2002, the daughter of Patrick Lee and Mary (Adams) Hopkins. Survivors include one brother, John Hopkins, one sister, Becca Hopkins and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Allen Hopkins. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling, with Father Richard Kramer, Father Bruce Ludeke, Monsignor Thomas Dzielak and Father James R. Keenan, officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Friday January 15, 2016 at Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sterling.
