Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Hopkins

Mary Elizabeth “Mary Beth” Hopkins, 49, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was assistant manager at Kelly Mobil Mart, Sterling. Mary was born July 1, 1966 in Sterling the daughter of Ron P. Adams and Kay Grennan Adams. Survivors include, one daughter, Becca Hopkins; one son, John David Hopkins; three sisters, Judy I. Adams (Brian) Astalos, Janice M. Adams (Harry) Ringler and Monica A. Adams (Jim) Kalina; four brothers, Paul J. (Dianne Erb) Adams, Phil E. (Margi See) Adams, Chris P. Adams, and Chuck R. (Erika Nailor) Adams; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Allen Hopkins and one sister, Kathleen Adams. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling, with Father Richard Kramer, Father Bruce Ludeke, Monsignor Thomas Dzielak and Father James R. Keenan, officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Friday January 15, 2016 at Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sterling.
