Obituary of Marjorie Ebersole

MARJORIE E. EBERSOLE STERLING - Marjorie E. Ebersole, 90, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Polo Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Marjorie was born September 25, 1921 in Walnut, the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy (Bowen) Alshouse. She married Donald E. Ebersole on January 24, 1943 in Freeport. Marjorie was a member of Science Ridge Mennonite Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald; two daughters, Barbara M. (Dennis) Vietmeier, of Buffalo Grove, and Debra Lynn Ebersole, of Sterling; six sons, Donald A. (Linda Kay) Ebersole, of Polo, Dennis L. (Linda Kay) Ebersole, of Rock Falls, Larry D. (Linda Kay) Ebersole and Brian E. (Lynette) Ebersole, both of Sterling, Stephen R. (Sherrie) Ebersole, of Davenport, IA, and Bradley A. Ebersole of Milledgeville; two brothers, William (Patricia) Anson and Richard (Fran) Anson, both of Princeton; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Elberg; and one grandson, Mike Ebersole. Services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Science Ridge Mennonite Church with Pastor Arnold Owens, officiating. Burial will be at the Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery, Sterling.
