Obituary of Jack R Norman

Jack R. Norman, 62, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his home. Jack was born July 29, 1953 in Sterling, the son of Glenn Sr. and LaVonne (DeGroot) Norman. He served in the United States Navy. He married DeAnna Buckman on October 3, 2008 in Morrison. Survivors include his wife, DeAnna Norman of Como; his parents, Glenn Sr. and LaVonne Norman. of Tampico; one daughter, Jennifer Norman of Polo; one son, Jason (Tammy) Norman of Amboy; three step-sons, Jeremy and Jason Stingley, both of Rock Falls and Justin (Tracy) Stingley of Sterling; three sisters, Jo Norman and Penny (Robert) Duncan, both of Sterling, Glenda (William) Hitchcock of Grand Detour; one brother, Glenn Norman, Jr. of Prophetstown; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Norman. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM, prior to services at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
